For those of you who do not know...
We have moved!!!
I have been soooo busy getting settled that I have not spent any time blogging.
Plus we have a pool now and I am the lifeguard! Scary, I know! Have you seen me swim? It is sad!
I put my mediocre lifesaving skills to the test the other day when Kay slipped off her noodle and I dove in with all my clothes on to save her. When I pulled her to safety and wiped her eyes she smiled so big and said, "Mommy, I did it!"
We didn't move far. We are about three or so miles from our last house. But we are in a new city, a new school district and a new stake! We are thrilled to be in this new house. We love it and plan to be here for many years to come!

Glad Kayla is OK, but I would have paid good money to watch you jump in fully clothed!

Wow--really? I thought if you moved it would for sure be to San Diego :) Can't wait to see pictures, and good luck with the pool--I am so paranoid about drowning.
Congrats on the new house! So cool. You and me both on the swimming thing, and all I can say is I too have used my sub par rescue techniques a few times.

Glad to hear you're liking the new house. Let me know how the pool feels in a few months. We might put one in, but I'm not sure I want to be a lifeguard.
