QUILTING 101

I have been wanting to make a quilt for many years. I was too chicken to start one on my own. I was worried I would completely mess it up. Lucky for me, my mother-in-law is a wonderful quilter and home in the summer and willing to teach me the basics. So before school started, I spent a couple days with her and we started this adorable quilt.

I'm not quite finished, but absolutely love it so far.
This quilt will go on Kayla's new BIG girl bed.

I can't wait to show you the finished quilt :)

I love it! You picked some cute fabric. We are checking on quilting prices. Darcy looks so grown up on her first day of school! Seems like yesterday it was you. Love, Mom
