"OKLAHOMA IN MY MOUTH"

My girls are growing so fast. I don't want to forget how adorable they are right now. Darcy is such a sweet girl. She is a great friend and has a BIG heart. Darcy loves school and she loves to read. She loves geography and has memorized all the states, their shapes and where they belong on a map. She will find the shapes of the states in just about everything. Once her wheat thin was Nevada, a cloud in the sky was Tennessee, etc. Recently she lost another tooth. This is the second tooth she lost. When she looked in the mirror she yelled, "I have Oklahoma in my mouth!" She was so excited that the void looked like Oklahoma. Such a funny little girl.

(backwards but in the mirror it looked right)

She was so excited to lose another tooth. She will be seven in April and these are the only two teeth gone. Needless to say she is a little behind the other kids in her class. She wanted desperately to take the tooth to school because the school nurse gives them a little tooth necklace to carry their tooth in. So we didn't put it under the pillow the first night so she could take it to school. She happily returned home that day with a tooth necklace. Later that day she was playing with Kayla and something tragic happened...

She wrote this note to the tooth fairy.

to the tooth fairy
Sorry I don't have
my tooth I was tring
to trick my sister. So I put
my tooth in my mouth but
I swalloed my tooth by
acsident. will you still give
me money
sorry wahh
from, Darcy Ellen Pace
thank you

I guess the tooth fairy was sympathetic because she left a dollar under her pillow:)

That's so funny!! Colten lost his 2 bottom teeth within about 2 months of each other... Both were in the little necklace and both were lost! One after getting home from school, he just had to show a neighbor friend and lost it in a sea of grass... and the other it somewhere on the library floor~ We have a very similar note to the tooth fairy:)

Poor Darcy! At least Mom didn't put her tooth in the salsa jar.
