I'm really enjoying my new calling because I get to plan and decorate for Relief Society gatherings. To celebrate the Relief Society's birthday we planned a "Garden Party". It was a great success!
Each Sister got to take home a potted pansy.
We had two speakers. One spoke on tips to start a garden, the other one talked about "becoming rooted in Christ".
I asked three sisters to help with the tablescapes. They all decorated so beautifully.
We ate salads of all types and I made bruschetta.
A birthday party must have cake! Recognize this cupcake stand? I used it for Darcy's 5th birthday. All it needed was a little paint and scrapbook paper.
Now what to do next year???
