Our fun filled Halloween Day started off with the making of caramel apples. I found Caramel Bits at Target and they are sooooo easy. Melt them up in a pot with a little water and voila! Perfect caramel topping. Then I got a little creative with the toppings. I must say that the white chocolate with crushed oreos wasn't my idea but totally worth stealing.
One idea was melted milk chocolate with toffee bits... yum!
Another idea was melted milk chocolate with Reese's peanut butter chips chopped! Double yum!!!
I also made some with chopped almonds!
I used Fuji Apples (the big ones from Costco). The crisp apples with the yummy caramely, chocolatey, nutty, sweet, delicious goodness! What can I say... it was divine!
I think I'll do this again next year.

As your visiting teachee, I'd like to thank you for offering to bring over those yummy treats, and I can't wait to tast em!
So I had never heard music on your blog until just now and Ernie was singing "I don't want to live on the moon." It's probably my 2nd all-time favorite Sesame Street song. Thanks for bringing it back!
I must have missed you when you dropped by to deliver some to me. But I'm home now. They look so good! I can't wait!

Oh man those would have been semi-healthier for me to eat besides the awesome sugar cookies I have been eating too much of. I would be a sucker for the Reeses cups, or Heath one.
If I provide the supplies, will you do all the work?!?! =)
